Half the arguments in Pakistani trade happen in the dark: did you send it? When? Where is it now? Tracked parcels exist to end that darkness — every delivery gets a timeline both sides can see, right inside the chat where the order happened.
Creating a parcel
Open the chat with your customer (or the Parcels tab), tap new parcel, and enter the destination — the customer's Dera Talk address if they have one, or plain text if they don't. Add what you're sending. The whole thing takes under a minute, because we built it for the counter, not for a courier company's back office.
The tracking link
The moment the parcel is created, a tracking card appears in your conversation. Your customer taps it and sees the same timeline you do: created, picked up, in transit, delivered. No screenshots, no "the courier said it left at two," no anxiety messages at midnight.
Updating status honestly
As the parcel moves, update the status in one tap. Be honest — a delivery that shows honest delay updates earns more trust than one that shows nothing for three days and then surprises everyone. The timeline is permanent and searchable, which protects you too: if a customer claims you never sent something, the record speaks.
Settling up
When the parcel is delivered, record the payment — cash, wallet, or COD settlement — against the parcel. Delivery, payment, and conversation all live under one thread. At month's end, your parcel history tells you exactly which deliveries earned what.
One honest note
Dera Talk parcels organize and track your deliveries — they don't replace the courier or the rider. You decide how the parcel physically travels; we make sure the communication and the record are clean. That division of labor is deliberate: couriers move boxes, Dera Talk moves information.
